What we do

Four thematic areas shape our work: health, education, youth and women empowerment, and innovation. Each one serves the same people, women, girls, and young people in Ghana.

Thematic area

Health

Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among women in Ghana, and most cases are found late because too few women are screened. We work to change that.

We organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and community events on prevention, early detection, and treatment. We facilitate mobile and subsidized screenings for women from low-income households, in partnership with health providers. And for those already affected, we provide financial assistance, emotional support, and practical resources through treatment and recovery.

Education

Knowledge is protection. We educate women and girls about health, wellness, and empowerment, with a strong focus on abuse prevention and response.

Our education travels to where people already are: churches, markets, schools, radio and TV discussions, and structured health talks that combine reproductive health with abuse prevention. Digital storytelling, short videos, and graphics extend the reach of every lesson.

Youth & Women Empowerment

We open opportunities for young people to access quality education, skills development, and mentorship, equipping them to become confident leaders and change-makers.

For survivors

We provide resources and support for young girls and women, particularly those affected by abuse: a safe, confidential space to share their stories, psychosocial counselling, and referral pathways to legal aid, medical care, and social welfare support.

For advocates

We train youth ambassadors in advocacy, first-line response, and community mobilization, so peer education continues long after any single project ends. Survivors who choose to speak out are supported to advocate for policy change.

Innovation

We believe technology should widen access, not replace care. Our digital work uses AI as an assistive layer only: adapting approved health content into simple language and local-language variants, powering WhatsApp micro-lessons and screening reminders, and helping our team monitor what is working.

Confidential digital reporting gives survivors a safe way to reach us. Every sensitive case is reviewed by trained counselors, with clear consent, privacy controls, and escalation pathways. No medical diagnosis, no automated counselling decisions, ever.

Our objectives

  1. Cervical cancer awareness

Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and events that teach women and girls about prevention, detection, and treatment.

  2. Support for affected individuals

Provide financial assistance, emotional support, and resources for those undergoing treatment or surgery.

  3. Education and empowerment

Develop programs on health, wellness, and empowerment, with a focus on abuse prevention, and open doors to education, skills, and mentorship for young people.

  4. Advocacy

Create a platform where survivors of abuse can share their stories and advocate for policy changes and better support services.

  5. Community support and development

Foster a culture of kindness, generosity, and compassion, inspired by Grace's legacy, to uplift vulnerable individuals and families.
